Can some-one PLEASE provide me sample code for a macro that will,

Save currently open document to a: or c:\download and also provide the
option to convert the doc.
Then keep the first document active.

Currently I have a macro that will allow a user to save the current document
they have open to a: or c:\download. Also they have the option to pick what
converter they wish to use. But the problem I ran into is the document now
active on the desktop is the document they saved to a: or c:\download. Not
the original document they started in. So if they saved the doc to a: and
later try to open it from the network again they will not have their
changes. Or I could have the macro automatically save the doc first, but I
hate to assume what the user wants to do.

You better try the microsoft.public.word.word6-7macro or word97vba group for
this one
