Hmmm, Zar Negar was a Persian Desktop Publishing
program. I haven't seen much about it or the
company, Sinasoft that wrote it but they could
have been purchased/merged into a bigger company.
Zarnegar could also be a font name in a file,
but it could also be someone's name. Not easy
to say without knowing the context of the file.
I don't recall if any of the Arabic DTP programs,
including the larger brand localized versions.
If the person who provided the file can't switch
to another format or verify the program they used
to create it you may want to check with the
folks at sites like http://www.armedia.com or
http://www.worldlanguage.com or companies
that do Persian translations who might be
able to handle the file for you.

Hello,
I have received a binary document file (name *.rfg, I don't know if that is
standard for a certain program) of a word processor with farsi text in it. Looking inside the file, I notice the word 'Zarnegar' at
the very beginning. On the Internet I have found Zarnegar to be a word processing program. However, I have not found any further
description.
My questions : 1. Can I convert that file in the format of a program that is more readily available in the Netherlands? Do I have to
do adapt a word processor for that?
2. If not, what other formats can Zarnegar produce? (formats that I could possibly open, here)
Thanking you in advance,
Patrick van Bladel>>
