Hello,

When I create a "Docx" in word 2007 and I open it in Word 2003 (With
compatibility package) my "Document Protection" is gone! They can insert
data in all the "Protected" area's! How is it possible to be sure that when
they open it in "Word 2003" the "Document Protection" is still on?

When I convert it to ".doc" (from word 2007) all the protection is still
there!

I need to deliver a generated "PROTECTED" document to the end user who uses
"Word 2003". The document has to be ".docx", because the "Document" is
created programmaticaly..

hopefully, you can give me some good idea's!

Kind Regards,
Frederic

If you need to create a protected form for users Word 2003 then save the
form as word 97-2003 format. Why are you even thinking of docx for a Word
2003 user? Note it is a compatibility pack - it doesn't enable Word 2003 to
handle functions introduced in 2007.
