To save in PDF format I think you need Adobe Acrobat.

Hi,

Actually to save a word file (or almost any other type of file) into pdf
format you need Adobe AcrobatWriter. If you go into www.adobe.com they
have this software available for a low price of US$30 until the end of
June. This acrobatwriter is very easy to use and they have macros for
Word 95/97 and Excel 95/97.

Give it a go.

Steve

Hi Scott,

You will need a copy of Adobe Acrobat. Then you can save to PDF anything you
can print. See http://www.adobe.com for details on Acrobat, and follow the
link in my signature for more on converting Word docs to PDF.

Adobe has a free Macro utility for Microsoft Word 97, It's called PDFMaker.
It coverts headings to PDF bookmarks, Hyperlinks, Cross References and a
bunch of other features. Go to:
http://www.adobe.com/supportservice/custsupport/LIBRARY/4d9e.htm
to download the software. Note, you still need a copy of Adobe Acrobat for
conversions but this Macro adds a bunch of features.
