all of a sudden i come home and open up word and i see that i do not have
any menus that i can access. i need help!

the screen is in full view and i do not believe that i opened it or left it
that way the last time i was in word. i asked those in my house if they had
changed anything but noone has admitted anything. any help would be
appreciated.

I see the SHIFT key on your keyboard has disappeared too! Nothing like a
strip search to bring a household together :-) But one thing at a time:

Hi Felix:

I went out and purchased Microsoft Office 2000 long ago. I was jittery with excitement and installed it. I opened Word 2000. Huh! Not a menu bar in site. Nothing but a window with borders. That's it but a scrawny status bar at the bottom. "What's that?" I said. Mmmm. So I had Microsoft Support. One ringy-dingy two ringy-dingy.

The Microsoft Customer Support Professional said, "Weird I never heard or seen of that before." I sent him a pic. He said, "Try Start | Run | winword /a | OK. So I did All fixed. He wasn't happy he really wanted to get his hands dirty. But that fixed it and never experienced it again.
