spoolsv kicks in when saving word document to network drive

Hi,

I have 2 windows 2000 machines (both running server but that's probably not
relevant).

I have a word document on a share on machine A that I edit on machine B
using Word 2000. Though the document is not large it sometimes takes a
couple of minutes to save. During this time there is network traffic between
the machines and spoolsv.exe is active on both machines.

I thought spoolsv was only to do with printing. Although the default printer
on machine B is also shared from A, the problem happens on save, not print.
