Re word I/O error

When I use the file open menu item the Open form display
question marks for directory names instead of the real
name. If I try opening them it generates an I/O erro 6
message. The files dislay and open correct from explorer.
Have I got a corruption somewhere??? Tried re-installing
but hasnt cured the problem. Any help appreciated before I
have to Blitz the hard drive. Thanks.
