I am having the same error code from my winword crash. I am running vista 64
bit ultimate with office 2007 enterprise. I am up to date with all the new
updates.
I've disabled my virus scanners and spyware scanners.
I can open word and write documents but I cannot open old documents, it just
freezes.
I've tried uninstalling/ reinstalling with no help.
I'm in desperate need as I'm a student that needs to write documents and
might just reformat my hdd soon! ahhhh.
Thanks in advance for all the help.
Please describe what happens when you try to open old documents?
Is this a new computer and if so, how did you transfer the old documents to
your new computer?
What version of OS and are both the OS and Word fully patched up to date?
Do you get the virus scan message too?
Did you ever have NAV - even a free trial version - installed at any time?
Have you checked in the AV settings that the Office scanning has been
disabled?
