I upgraded from millenium to XP.
When I try to install Office and other microsoft products,
it says that
The Windows Installer Service could not be accessed. This
can occur if you are running Windows in safe mode, or if
the windows installer is not correctly installed. Contact
you support personnel for assistance.

What can I do? I don't run XP in safe mode. How can I
install windows installer again?
