We are deploying XP Pro for a number of our users. We have
a select agreement so have a corporate licence for XP. The
machines we buy have an OEM version of XP on, however it
is useful to build these machines from the OEM version as
all the correct drivers get installed during the setup.
After this is complete we would like to sysprep the
machines and use our select serial no. for deployment. We
are not able to change the OEM key using the msoobe.exe.
Anyone know if this is possible, or will we have to build
our images from scratch and grab the drivers etc from the
support cd's that come with the hardware.

First of all, you do not have a "corporate license" for Windows XP.
You have a "volume license". In order to use a volume license with
sysprep, you must create your sysprep image using a Windows XP
volume license installation CD. Volume licenses cannot be used
with OEM versions of Windows XP.
