HP Photosmart printer install software

I recently noticed that I was unable to get autorun or the
setup.exe to launch for the HP printer software
installation to run on PC's that I have locked down for
work purposes. I noticed the only way to get the software
and printer to install was to run the "hpfsplsh.exe"
executable from the following location on the cd D:\enu\nt4
\Disk1\nt4. This could be something to think about when
installing all HP printers in general. Hope this is
helpful.
