Hi

Do you have XP Service Pack 1 installed? I have heard of the same problem
from a number of XP SP1 users, but am not aware of a fix for it.

Try
In IE, click on Tools, Internet Options, Advanced.
Navigate down to Multimedia. Select Automatic image resizing and select Show
Pictures.
If these are already selected, I would try Tools, Internet Options, in the
opening box click on delete Internet Temporary files.
