I have downloaded and viewed several picutres. I created
another folder and when I moved them I could no longer
view them. Any ideas?

Are you positive that you actually saved the images to your
hard drive...or did you just view them on the memory card?
What steps did you use to move the files?

Quite positive...the files are still on my hard drive. I
connect my camera windows detects it and asks what you
want to do. I downloaded to my pictures everything is
great. I then created a file folder under my pictures and
did a cut and paste. Afterwards no can view those
pictures.

Your thoughts?

If you open the folder you created...what is in it and what
are the file extensions?

In the folder are the files that were downloaded with the
file extention .jpg. As you know the files if not named
will default to sequential numbers.

OK...now we're in the folder you created and we see the
copied .jpg files...What happens if you left click one of the
files?

Are you possibly saying that you just do not see the
thumbnails? If that's the case...go to...View / Thumbnails.

I wish it were that simple...when you left click a file
there is a pause and then the error message "access to
(the file and it's location is denied". If you right
click you get the opportunity to view properties and
everthing looks pretty normal.

I'm no expert on this but I'm thinking you did not
successfully/completely move/copy the images.

Sorry, but I don't know what else to tell you.
