I would like to set up the windows picture and fax viewer
as my default for viewing pictures. My computer is using
the microsoft photo editor, which I don't like. How can I
change the default? Thanks......Jill

Check what you have when you right click on a .jpg.
Right click on a .jpg and click on Open with.
What is the selection there? PSP or Irfanview?
To change it, click on Choose program.
A window will open, select Windows Picture and Fax viewer and check the box
"Always...."
If the above does work, do the following.
Click on Start, click on Run and type the following in the opening textbox:
REGSVR32 SHIMGVW.DLL
and press the Enter key.
Note that there is a space between ...32 and SHI...
After running this command, try the above setting procedure again.
