In fact, the "Temporary PCHealth files" checkbox detects a
lot of megas to be cleaned, but all these files are my
VALID files (mp3, avi, jpg...) All the files in the disk
root directory (no subfolders) are deleted if a confirm
the cleanup operation. It occurs with all my drives.

Can anyone help me,please? I use WinXP with SP1.

How do you 'obtain' these MP3's etc. Are they downloaded?

May I recommend that you oblige the system standards and save them within the relevant sub folders in My Documents > My Pictures etc.

Well, it's a good recommendation, of course. But my files can be in
any format (for example, a Word document created in my computer), and
i think that any program or system process is legitimate to erase
information in this way.

I guess that the problem is a weird xp bug (or a virus, the worst that
could happen). I didn't find much information about PCHealth cleanup
processes in XP.
