If you delete the backups in your Windows folder *first* and you're sure
you won't ever want to uninstall the updates, yes. After deleting the
backups, clicking the listing in Add/Remove Programs will inform you that
the update can no longer be uninstalled. It will also ask if you want the
Add/Remove listing removed. Say "Yes."

Go to C:\WINDOWS and delete "$NTServicePackUinistall$" about 240 mb.
Then go to Add/Remove Programs.
Click Service Pack 1, there will be an error since you just deleted
the file.
Click YES to delete the shortcut.
Use similar procedure to delete similar files for the updates.
