Hello,

When I boot my system, the SVCHOST process immediately
begins to require more and more memory until the system
crashes. Not sure what's causing it. I've restored the
system several times, but it always starts doing the same
thing again. Any ideas?

It's not svchost but rather something running under it.
If you're running Pro you can launch a command prompt then execute "tasklist
/svc" to get a detail list of what's running in under each svchost. You'll
find your culprit there.
