In my internet explorer history I get notification that I have visited
rad.msn.com and then a reference to ADSAdClient 31 or 32. To my recollection
I have not visited this site and further when I try to reach rad.msn.com I am
refused entry

From Google:
"This is a default test page for the Advertising Delivery System (ADS)
indicating
you have successfully pinged an individual IIS Server by IP."

Do you use MSN Messenger?
If so, it's either the ads or MSN Today.

I noticed that address in the Status bar on a system yesterday. Of
course, the Home page was MSN.com, but I believe other sites might
acquire ads from that site. Maybe you clicked on an ad and that address
was recorded. I don't know what it would take to add that address to
your history, just speculation..

If you are using Windows Live Messenger, rad.msn.com is the ad service
associated with messenger and will list in the history in Internet
Explorer even if you do not log onto explorer on any given day.

If you have another browser such as firefox you will notice that it
will not appear in the history on that browser even if you are logged
onto messenger.
