Describe your network setup and how you are accessing the internet.

I'm using on LAN, using Shaw Cable...
I used command, ipconfig to get my ip (24.84.32.35),
tried to play diablo, doesn't work.
I used JavaScript.com, got ip (24.69.255.202), tried to
play, doesn't work.
I even tried the default gateway (24.84.32.1), doesn't
work.

XP has lots of IP addresses. For example, 127.0.0.1. Don't use a
javascript. Right-click the adapter icon in your notification area and
select "status". Click on the support tab and read your IP address
there. The details button also shows DNS server IP addresses. The
ipconfig command does the same thing.

The IP address that you got from the javascript program indicates an IP from
a proxy server. You want to connect to 24.83.32.35, and I would suggest that
you probably have the XP firewall turned on.
