Remove Internet Explorer 6 from WinXP

How do i uninstall/remove internet explorer completely
from windows XP..there is a utility for windows 95/98 but
i cant find a way with xp.

To the best of my knowledge, there's no way to completely un-install
Internet Explorer. It shares too many files with the rest of the
operating system.

You can remove IE icons and shortcuts:

1. Insert the XP CD-ROM.
2. Click "Install Optional Windows components".
3. Un-check the box for Internet Explorer.
4. Click Next.
