Error 678: The remote computer did not respond

I am trying to connect to my DSL through my wireless lan.
The wireless lan appears to be working properly as set up
by windows xp. But when I try to connect to the DSL
through my remote access point I get "error 678: The
remote computer did not respond".
I have a dual boot w/win98 and I am able to connect on it
fine.
Why won't xp connect?

Hi,
It seems that I have the same problem as you with my DSL
connection. Could you tell how did you resolve your
problem ?
