If I have both IE and OE running after a while the windows will freeze,
particularly if I have multiple windows open. If I then close down one of
the windows, or close OE the others unfreeze.
I also sometimes lose the ability to move files using left or right click in
windows explorer.
Any ideas?
I have run the housecall and symantec online checks and they find nothing.

yes, well, I found *that* answer myself thanks. What I was hoping for was a
more permanent solution.

Hi,
Go to Windows Explorer > Folder options > view and check 'show all
hidden and system files.'
Go to the folder Windows\Inf right-click on the file 'ie' and choose
'Install.' It will ask for the Windows XP CD.
