HArd drive partitioning

I am currently running a Sony Vaio with Windows XP Home.
The computer has a 20 gig drive but is partitioned screwy.
The c drive is partitioned as fat32 and is very very small.
The d drive is ntfs and is very large. Everything seems to
want to write to the c drive as that is where the system
files are. I am constantly low on drive space. Is there
any way that I can delete the partion so the computer sees
only one drive and then convert the fat32 to ntfs without
reformatting the entire drive?

Well in your case you will and more tahn likley have to repartion
the drive, they are a few things out their that you can use like
partition magic, but my advice to you is, backup your important
data and just re-partition the drive, will take a little longer but
that is the best route to take.

The only way you can create, delete, resize or merge existing partitions,
and not harm your existing Windows installation, is to purchase and use
a third-party partitioning program such as Partition Magic 8.
