I am getting an error message pop up when I start up
windows xp with rundll in the main title bar that
contains a message telling me it can't load tweakui.cpl.
The reason it can't load it is because I deleted it.
When you get tweakui for XP it says to get rid of any old
versions before installing. I upgraded from ME so I had
that old version. Since there appeared to be no way to
uninstall the thing I just deleted all of its files.

How do I get rid of this error popping up, or I guess I
should ask how do I get it to stop trying to load the
tweakui.cpl?

Thanks.

There is no tweakui option to uncheck.

Try this:
Remove TweakUI v1.33 (and earlier) Manually:

That fixed it. Thanks.

Actually, there was only one thing left in the list of
registry keys that I needed to delete of all he had
listed.

Start - Run - Regedit.exe
Open the left pane top
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

And in the Right pane look for the TweakUI line and highlight and delete
it
