Runs Slow

Hi, I hope you all are doing well.

I am trying to determine why my Dell XP system is running kinda slow. I ran
HiJackThis and removed a bunch of the junk. When I open the performance tab,
start the Internet and click the REFRESH button on Internet Explorer, the Avg
Disk Queue Length tops out for several seconds. I do not recall this
happening in the past.

Can someone tell me if this is normal and if not, is there anything I can do
to resolved?
