I am using XP SP3, and am trying to use the Indexing Options normally located
in Control Panel to fix an Outlook 2007 issue and the icon is not there in
Classic View. When I select Other Control Panel Options from Category View
it is not there either. Nor is it under Performance and Maintenance. The
Indexing Service is running. Is there a way to get it back? Or another way
to index? Thanks!

*Right* click My Computer either on the Desktop or Start Menu and choose
Manage.
Click the plus sign next to Service and Applications.
Click the plus sign next to Indexing Service.
Click on Directories
You can add the Directories where Outlook stores it's files, if that's
what you are after, by clicking Action > New > Directory

Or, you can click Help > Help Topics > click the Contents tab > then
enter 'indexing' to access the 'Indexing Service overview' which should
give you a clue as to what you are trying to do.

Thanks! That helped and I will give it a try.
