Check for an option to not having the icon load in the System Tray via the
program(s) in question.
Other options for removal:
Go to Start/Run and type in: msconfig. Go to the Startup Tab and uncheck
accordingly. Then run this script to remove the disabled items from the
registry.
Note: Once the script below has been run, there will be no selective
startup messages.

You get a screen warning that you have modified startup, but not saying
anything about *MUST*. Check the 'do not show this again' box and click
Exit.
It is usually preferable though to change settings in the options of the
programs concerned to 'do not run at windows startup'
