1. Of or characteristic of rats.
2. Infested with rats.
3. Dilapidated; shabby.

I fail to see what you mean by ratty in regard to my posts to this
group, since all you have to go by is my written word in this group.

Rats don't have writing characteristics, nor are my posts infested by
them, and my posts don't have a dilapidated appearance.

I don't think an American has said "ornery", outside of a movie
Western, in a hundred years give or take. :-)

"Bitchy" or "grumpy" would be a lot more contemporary.

As his website and actions suggest, he attempts to get his strength from
insulting those who disagree with him.
Apparently he needs to be that way since he seems incapable of being civil
with those he disagrees.
He denies his need to insult as an alcoholic denies the need for
alcohol...with the same result.
His advice can be very accurate but reliability can be questionable since
his attitude so often gets in the way.

Are you insulted by my web site?

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

No quite true. I'm quite capable of being civil with those that play
fairly.

You, I have little respect for, mostly because you are disengenuous in
reply to those you disagree with. You expect your adversary to answer
all your questions, yet you shy away from answering the direct questions
asked of you, or twist it to mean something else. You rely on slight of
hand, instead of having an honest disagreement.

> He denies his need to insult as an alcoholic denies the need for

I have no "need" to insult. I also have no need to show feigned
respect, for those that are not deserving of my respect.

I've disagreed with him plenty of times and I can't recall even one time
that he ever insulted me.

> Apparently he needs to be that way since he seems incapable of being civil
> with those he disagrees.

No offense JJ, but I think you just can't figure out how to communicate
with some people effectively, and obviously Kurt is one of them. It's
not really a matter of agreeing or not, it's about learning how the
other person communicates and establishing rapport with them. If you
can't talk with someone then don't bother trying. Sure, he can seem
offensive to some (or many), but remember, you have to take offence in
order to be offended. Responsibility lies with the responder.

This rates right down there with the dumb computer = car anaolgies.

Accurate information is accurate information, period. Attitude is
meaningless when it comes to deaing with a computer or operating system.
Computers and OSes don't care about anything, they're machines, remember?

Why?
Do you have something there that gives evidence about you insulting others?
Your website has nothing of value otherwise there would be no need for the
disclaimer at the bottom of the page.
Or have you remove the disclaimer?
It has been about a year since I was there.

The disclaimer is that it is a parody. And I already cover that in an
