Hi all,
My sysinfo (from command line) suggests:

OS Build Type: Multiprocessor Free

But I have a 3.2GHz HT processor, which appears as two processors to the
system. Further down:

Processor(s): 2 Processor(s) Installed.
[01]: x86 Family 15 Model 2 Stepping 9
GenuineIntel ~3198 Mhz
[02]: x86 Family 15 Model 2 Stepping 9
GenuineIntel ~3198 Mhz

So is there something configured wrong? I am running Win XP Pro, SP2

Thanks

Hi,

No nothing is configured wrong.
If Windows was only recognising it as 1 processor then it would be described
as Uniprocessor.

As long as task manager (with 1 graph per CPU choosen) displays 2 graphs
then everything is working fine.

Regards,
Peter

Why do you think there is ?

Multiprocessor - because you have 2 virtual processors due to your Hyper
Threading CPU
Free - as opposed to checked, so you have the production kernel, not the
one for debugging development work.
