Found this info on the following URL by searching on
yahoo.com with "(SysFader OR SpyFader)"
http://www.annoyances.org/exec/forum/win2000/1022973221
...
SysFader is not really a process, yet it is spawned as a
process by a dll named browseui.dll when Internet Explorer
wants to use transition effects. As is the design of win2k
and winXP, IE is everywhere and these transition effects
are also used when you exit your computer. This
information I have from several newsgroups and my own
experiences; MS doesn't say anything about it.
...
So it appears related to your settings under System-
>Advanced->(Performance) Settings->Visual Effects. The
items on here probably use that "SysFader" thing to show
you the effects that are checked on that tab.
