Installed programs vanished from Add/Remove progs!

Just went into add/remove programs and more than half my installed progs
have vanished!! All the progs missing work perfectly fine but cant see them
in add/remove progs. Is there a registry key I can change to get them back??

Maybe doing a System Restore back to before this occured?

Take a close look to the right when you open add/remove. is there a scroll
bar that will allow you to scroll down to the bottom? They may not have
disappeared but there is a large space between the one you see and the next
one on the list.

Do you have AutoCad installed? If that's the case, see this response from

If that does not apply to your situation, then download my script below and
run it. Post the results here. This script lists all the negative icon
references present in the registry, and sends them to a log file.
