I am attempting to upload images form my digital camera to my Windows XP
system using a USB connection, but I get errors. What should I do to solve
this problem?
Update Windows XP with service packs or patches?
Reinstall the digital camera software?
Just reboot my system?
Verify that the camera is turned on?
Please advise.

To use the camera you may need it's drivers

usually easier to just get a card reader

Oh, I don't know. You might try paying attention in class, or reading
your text book so that you don't need other people to do your homework
for you.

What kind of camera, what are the exact error notices, are you using the
native program in XP to download the photos and have you read the
instructions for downloading your pictures in your camera user guide?
