Myself and my friend both own Warcraft III and would like
to play over a local area network. We have successfully
played before, yet after a weekend home we cannot
anymore, the computers don't detect one another. The
only thing done to the comps when we were home was that
we connect mine to a wireless LAN and my friend connect
through a cable/DSL hookup. What did that do to the
computer?

Sounds like one of you may not have the same version (check for the patch),
but otherwise run through the networking help here:

Check your IP config - same subnet, same netmask, etc?
(I.E. Computer 1 - 192.168.0.2. netmask 255.255.255.0, computer 2
192.168.0.3, 255.255.255.0.)
Can they see each other *outside* of WC3? Ping each other and the like?
