I'm a newbie to WES. We went to out our computer suppliers who recently went
to a Microsoft conference on WES and we're considering together migrating
across from XP Pro to WES.
We understand that you are able to protect the entire volume (C:\) and then
add "holes" into the overlay to allow certain files and folders to be
modified.
My question is:
* If I add an exception on the folder "C:\OurApp" say, does that exception
apply to all files and sub-folders within "C:\OurApp"?
* If it does not, can you dynamically add holes into the overlay without
requiring a reboot?
Our customers need to be able to dynamically create and delete folders, but
only within the "C:\OurApp" root folder.

Alain

Yes, using the File Based Write Filter (FBWF)
