ASP.NET won't work

Got an urgent major problem.
Built a web site using ASP.NET using .NET 3.0
Also built a ..net 3.0 app that uses the .aspx pages on the site.
Runs OK on desktop but not on an XPE image.

When I copy the app to XPE system and configure it to use the desktop web
server, all is OK.
When I copy the web site to the the XPE system I found hatt teh web server
doesn't want to run any .aspx pages. Even the ones in the root.

Built image using Full XP Pro component so all of the IIS components are
there.
Have .NET 3.0 installed.

I get Sever Error : 500
on any .ASPX page.

Further to this, on my desktop (XP) I have frontpage server extensions
installed.
If I try to create an aspx project on the target XPE system via http from my
desktop it says the Frontpage server extensions are required.
The XPE system doesn't have FP server extensions.
I see mixed messages on Frontpage server extensions when I search on thsi
issue.

I see you have enough problems of your own David but can you suggest how I
can learn to use my C# ASP.NET skills to develop applications that will run
on WPX? Any QUickStarts or Primers you recommend for example?
