Problem 1:
-------------
I made an application in Visual Basic 6.0 that works perfect on Win95 and NT
but after installing it on Win XP embedded i get an error on an activeX.
"Run-time error '380' Invalid property value.

Problem 2:
-------------
I want to install a touchscreen driver in XP embedded, but when i run the
installation i get "The procedure entry point SMapLS_IP_EBP_8 could not be
located in the
dynamic link library KERNEL32.dll".

What am I missing?
Thanks,

An

The touchscreen issue sounds like it may be a simple missing dependency
problem. Run Dependency Walker on the binaries of that service to locate the
missing dependency binaries, then use Filter Manager in TD to locate the
"owning" components that need to be added to the runtime.

Thanks,
Andy

Is it possible that this entry point (SMapLS_IP_EBP_8) is a win95 entry
only?

Thanks,
An

Yes, you are exactly right, SMapLS is a Win9x only entry point. It is used
for 16/32 bit code interop and is not supported on Win2K or XP.

Likely you need an updated 2K or XP dll for your device.
