I recently installed some software that put over 2,000
fonts on my computer. The software has been uninstalled,
but the fonts remain. What are the fonts I must keep to
keep XP and Office running properly?

My heart goes out to you as that is a most annoying problem.
All of the fonts in red are system fonts that should not be deleted. Office
also uses the Tahoma font. If you remove a font that Office requires, when
you start Office you will get the installer asking you for the cd and it
will reinstall the fonts.
I hope that helps. (You may get a more comprehensive list of fonts needed
answer by posting your question in the Office newsgroup)
