No matter which theme you choose, when you logoff windows uses the default
blue theme, right?

Can you change this default theme?

Thanks,

I asked this before, but I thing I worded it wrong cos I got a strange

You mean the welcome screen right? That's not actually a theme, but a
program called logonui.exe. There are ways of changing the images & colour
schemes for this program, but does involve changing a pretty important part
of XP. Try www.stylesxp.com They have lots of different logon screens, and
instructions on how to change it for yourself.

Ah, in that case.... I believe that the skinning of the logon itself is up
to the skin designer to do... And most of them don't as they forget about it
(I guess most people use the Welcome screen)...

Don't quote me on this, I could be wrong... Possibly the logon prompt is not
skinnable, though as it's skinned in the default Luna skin, it should be :)

It's a window like any other. You need to change the Registry value in the
Default User profile that tells Windows what skin to use--similar to
changing the settings for the screensaver that runs at the login prompt in
older Windows versions. Someone else is bount to know exactly which key to
change.
