Hotmail and Outlook?

Is it possible to plug more than one Hotmail account into Outlook Express
with hotmail accounts that have different passwords?

Yes, just create a new mail account... Tools -> Accounts -> Add -> Mail...

and then follow the on screen prompts...

I have tried that but it gets jammed when it tries to download the folders.
It seems I can only have the account I install first. When I add the second
it just gets jammed.

Try contacting Hotmail.. I've got 6 accounts set up so I know it works....

I have had trouble with multiple hotmail accounts also. I have even used
the multiple identities feature to no avail. I have had all the email from
one account show up in the inbox of another account using a seperate entity.
I never did figure out how to stop that from happening.

Yeah I have tried absolutely everything I van think of even configuring them
all to have the same password but to no avail.

Also hotmail makes two copies of the same message download to my OE account.
They only disappear when I close and log in again.

A bit annoying.

Well, I don't know why the multiple accounts thing isn't working, but I've
had the other behaviour from time to time also. What's even more annoying
it that if you delete the extra mail and log out, when you come back the
other one is gone too! :( VERY annoying.... I would suggest contacting
Hotmail's support on this one...

I don't think Hotmail is supported cos it stipulates that you use it at your
own risk etc and that it's only beta...

In all fairness, it took Hotmail about 5 days to respond to my 1st plea for
help.
After that, they were consistent and helpful.

Are you a paying Hotmail customer. I just had a look on their page and I
don't see an option to contact them. Other than for advertising purposes or
reporting Spam.

If you have their contact details handy that would be great as I can't even
add my original hotmail account now. :(

Once they did that, I replied to their email with the subject line IT DIDN'T
WORK--GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK!!!
Had a response from them within a day.
I think I saved all that stuff on my computer at work (which I can't get to
until Monday).
I'll check and let you know.
Problem is, support links they provided as the same info I had already
received from the MVPs (which was outstanding).
