I would like to add the MS Word, Excel, Internet Exp.,
etc. shortcut icons to the task bar instead of the desk
top. Any suggestions?

You can drag and drop the desktop icon to the task bar. You may need to grab
the little bar on the task bar to the left of the icons you already have on
there and pull it to the right to allow enough space for the new ones.
