Mexico, but I need the interface to be in Spanish. Thanks
for your help!!!!!

No. You have to buy Windows in the language that you want to have and
clean-install this version.

I know that the English Pro version support the installation of the language
pack, allowing the assignment of a language UI on a user basis.... My
roommate had a MSDN copy of that pack that we tested to install French on
top of an English Win XP Pro. I also tested it with the Traditional Chinese
language UI in a VMWare virtual machine to only one user with success. That
language pack is produced by Microsoft, but I don't know about its
availability... Just thought to mention that as I have seen a few people
stating that it was not possible to do

I think you are talking about that tool which has been released for
OEMs to install Windows in the language they need. This is only
available for OEMs and the language selection only is possible while
installing Windows XP.

That is correct for the OEM part, as it is only available in volume
licensing, as well as it been only possible on a English installation of
Windows XP Pro. But the install is very smooth, and is done "after" the
installation of Windows itself as you would with any other apps. It is also
a "per" user settings and you can install more then one additional languages
UI from that pack.. They then become available for a user to switch to that
language. As I said in the original post (that was in the part you sniped),
I tested it myself and played a bit with it. I don't know where you took
your information about it been possible only during the setup of Windows
itself...

So I think saying that it is not possible is the correct answer as a home
user isn't able to buy a copy of the "Multilingual User Interface Pack".
