Where is that cursor???????

Where is that cursor that I sometimes see when my computer starts up? This
is the one with the disc next to the pointer. Thanks.

It's kinda like the "working" hour-glass icon.......just shows system
as busy while scanning CDROM...(so windows can later make assinine
suggestions on how you wish to open it)

It is not a separate file like the normal cursors, so you have to manually
edit a resource.

The cursor resource for the arrow with the CD is cursor number 68 in
"c:\windows\system32\user32.dll" (use "Resource Hacker" to view\edit it).
But, if you change this file, Windows File Protection will reset it back to
the original. So I think the only way to change it is to disable WFP.
