Default folder view file detail when first opened

Open Windows Explorer and change the view to Details.
Go to Tools > Folder Options > View Tab > click the "Apply To All Folders"
button.
Go to Tools > Folder Options > View Tab > click the "Apply To All Folders"
button.
That should do it. ;-)
