BIG problem...i currently have windows XP pro and the main system partition
( C:) is formatted with NTFS with a cluster size of 512 Bytes. I want to
convert to 4KB cluster ...so the obvious option is to clean re-install Win
XP right ?? Well how do i do that ? I mean how do i clean install Win XP
again ?? Please do not tell me to boot from Win XP CD rom and carry out the
installation since somehow my CD rom cammot boot from the Win XP CD-ROM. I
tried using the Windows 98 boot disk to format the C: drive but it is not
possible since C: is allocated the ramdrive.

Please tell me how to clean install Windows XP again (obviously with 4 KB
cluster size this time). Help in simple language would be very much
appreciated.

Thanx a lot

A. If your computer cannot boot from the Windows XP CD, then use the setup floppy disks:

If you use a Windows 9x format command, and the partition you format is
FAT32, the cluster size will ALWAYS be 512bytes.
