Strange XP/2000 install problem with QDI motherboard

I have just put a Celeron 1000 in my Advance 9 MB (latest BIOS) and tried to
install XP. As soon as the setup program gets to the point where the status
bar at the bottom of the screen says "Setup is starting Windows" the machine
will lock up. So I tried installing Windows 2000 instead. Exactly the same
thing happened!
