Hi-

I am using MS XP Pro and want to add to the "clipbord"
at times rather than it replacing the old data. I
remember in 98 if you tried to copy twice without first
pasting the first copy, a window would come up asking
to add to or replace. Is there a similar feature in XP?

Is there a "clipboard"? No listing in help database.

Thanks,
Rex

Hi Rex,

Clipboard still exists (start/run clipbrd.exe), however you must have had a third-party utility installed in Win98, as the behavior you describe is not the way clipboard behaves. Any new copied image replaces the old one - there is no prompt to add to an existing one (in either Win98 or WinXP or any version of Windows).

There are lots of third-party clipboard utilities available out there.

Thanks Rick. Sorry I did not read the post message until
after i sent the reply. I have used MS Word or Office
since 91. Maybe there was a utility in there.
