Please help me with this....Everytime I have to update or
install a program in my computer, I get this error "your
current security settings prohibit running ActiveX
controls on this page. As a result, the page may not
display". What should I do...help, please!!!!

did you first try setting your internet options under
browser tool bar,under security,internet and local
intranet have options to disable,prompt,or enable active
x controls.

I have the very same problem, and I posted a message bu
tno luck as yet. Tried everything suggest by MS (not
much). PLeasse let me know if you do find help ;-(

As a test, try these steps:

1. In IE, click on Tools, and select Internet Options.
2. Click on the Security tab, make sure the Internet Zone is selected and
click the Custom Level button.
3. Under the "Reset custom settings" item, make sure the word Low is listed
and then click on the Reset button.
4. Click OK to close the window.
5. Click OK to close the Internet Options window.
6. Close all open IE windows, then try the Windows Update site and let me
know if you still get the ActiveX error.
