(Yes - Windows 7 has gone RTM - but AFAIK, even to OEM/Select customers - no
one gets it until after the 6th.)
BTW - even through Windows 7 - I still recommend never ever getting the
hardware drivers from Microsoft when trying to get things to work the first
time or when you need a later version of the driver for whatever reason.
It's fine if it works 'out-of-th-box' for you and does everything you need
witout issue- but if you ever need a new driver for whatever purpose - go to
the actual manufacturer of said product.
In other words - Microsoft is unlikely to have made your sound device -
don't get your software driver for said device from them.
Go to the audio device manufacturer's web page and see if they offer a
driver yet for your sound card - if they do not - you may be OoL.
