Windows update error 0x8024D007

I keep getting this error when I'm trying to access windows update.
Files that are needed by windows are no longer registred or installed.
I press the button to regregister/install the files again and then i
get the error

You can see that the wusp.dll won't get registred, I then try to
manually register it with REGSVR32 C:\WINDOWS\system32\wups.dll
I then get an 0x80070005 error.
I tried removing wu*.* in system32 and try again, i also tried
downloading windows update agent20 and installing it with /wuforce
command.
I have tried removing the softwaredistrubution folder in windows folder
allong with the remaining wups.dll and wups2.dll in
system32\softwaredistrubution\setup\
servicestartup\
Another problem is that BITS won't start, it returns an "error 2: file
not found"
I'm runing win xp home sp2, no antivirus, ms firewall disabled and no
bacground apps.

I fixed it!
I registred the qfmgrprxy.dll file and reinstalled bits.
The qfmg.dll file gave me the same error 0x80070005.
And suddenly Bits started up.
But windows update still couldn't run, same error
After reading some more on the net i figured th 0x80070005 error was
some kind of permission denied error, since there was nothing wrong
with the dll and other dlls registred fine.
So I followed this guide http://www.castlecops.com/posts106642-0.html
Which told me to reset all permissions in registry which helped.
This also removed some slow loading occurences on the system.
But many thanks for redirecting my problem to bits. I am realy
greatfull, struggled two complete days with this problem.
