I was away during the winter, but have accepted the May and June 2007
automatic updates since connecting my computer, again, to the internet.

Apparently automatic updates don't check and supply the older, missed
updates.
1. Is this so?
2. What is the best way to do this (where to go?) (how to choose specific
month/year?)
Thank you.

On second thought, download, install and run the Belarc Advisor. It will
tell you if all updates are installed. http://www.belarc.com

Not really. Probably what you are seeing is that cumulative updates
which supersede earlier updates may cause the updates which they
supersede not to be downloaded. No problem with that.

Give some specific examples of what you are seeing if you can't attribute
them to the general case outlined above.
